Lyneth Crighton is an experienced Computer Applications Technology teacher currently teaching at Brescia House School in Johannesburg, South Africa.
With over twenty years of teaching experience, Lyneth has also held the positions of IEB Theory examiner for six years and IEB Internal Moderator for Computer Applications Technology for another six years. These roles have contributed to deepening Lyneth's understanding of the subject matter and providing valuable insights into the assessment process.
Microsoft has recognized Lyneth's innovative approach to improving learning and teaching pedagogy through technology integration. She was named the Middle East and Africa Region's Cutting-Edge Technology winner in 2011 and has been a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow since 2019. Lyneth is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer since 2015 and holds certifications as an Apple Teacher and Google Certified Educator.
Lyneth is the co-author of a series of textbooks for Computer Applications Technology, published by Funworks cc, which highlights her commitment to sharing her passion for the subject.
